Blackstone Chambers is holding a one-day regulation conference on Friday 14th March at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, London.
The conference brings together a team of leading experts from Blackstone Chambers with a wealth of experience in advising on regulatory issues across a broad range of sectors, from financial services, pharmaceuticals and broadcasting to government departments, designated bodies and the public sector. It will take an in-depth look at substantive and practical issues that confront regulators, those they regulate and private practitioners involved in regulated sectors.
Topics will include:
- Sound decision making: avoiding and defending judicial review
- Regulation and the Human Rights Act
- Penalties, remedies and concurrent proceedings
- The interface between public law and competition law
The delegate rate for this event is £200 + VAT, with all profits being donated to the Bar Pro Bono Unit and the Free Representation Unit.
