Fenerbahce SK v UEFA, Besiktas JK v UEFA, & FC Metalist Kharkiv v UEFA

There have been a number of CAS proceedings brought in August 2013 by clubs seeking to overturn UEFA Appeal Body decisions to exclude them from the Champions League or Europa League for match fixing by their officials.  In each of Fenerbahce SK v UEFA, Besiktas JK v UEFA, and FC Metalist Kharkiv v UEFA, the governing body was successful in defending the challenges brought and the exclusions were upheld.  In each case, the match fixing was to win, and not connected to gambling.
