In an order dated 9 May 2014, the Divisional Court has ordered that proceedings against the CPS decision that the Prince Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalif, a Bahraini Prince, has immunity from prosecution in the UK in relation to allegations of torture against him should be heard in open court and will be listed for trial later this year. A previous judgment in the case delivered by Laws LJ on 19 June 2013 [2013] EWHC 2047 (Admin), previously confidential, has been published.
