As a matter of public policy an English court ought to decline to recognise an Iraqi government resolution as effectual to divest Kuwait Airways Corporation of its title to its aircraft. Enforcement or recognition of this law would be manifestly contrary to the public policy of English law and contrary to the UK's obligations under the UN charter.
