The Football Association v Mr. Jake Livermore

Nick De Marco successfully represented football player Jake Livermore in the FA Regulatory Commission’s Anti-Doping hearing following Mr Livermore’s positive test for cocaine. Taking into account the severe impairment that tragic circumstances had on Mr Livermore’s judgment when the offence occurred the Commission applied the proportionality principle and found that no period of suspension should be imposed.
