Attorney General's Panel Promotions

The Attorney General has announced the new panels of approved counsel, promoting three members of Blackstone Chambers to the ‘A’ and ‘B’ Panels and appointing two junior tenants to the ‘C’ Panel for the first time. Shaheed Fatima and Tom Weisselberg have both been elevated to the ‘A’ Panel, Leona Powell is promoted to ‘B’, while Hanif Mussa and Simon Pritchard have joined the ‘C’ Panel.
Effective from 1st March 2011, 25 members of Blackstone Chambers are now on the Attorney General’s panels of counsel authorised to act for the Treasury Solicitor’s Department, as detailed below:
