Blackstone Chambers Scoops a Quartet of Trophies

At Chambers & Partners Bar Awards Michael Beloff QC was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
In their citation, Chambers & Partners credited Michael's continued outstanding contribution to the legal profession that “includes over four hundred reported cases and recommendations in legal directories in no less than 13 different practice areas”.
Dinah Rose QC followed up the first appearance in the Supreme Court to be named Human Rights & Public Law Silk of the Year. Lord Pannick QC and Michael Fordham QC were the two other shortlisted silks, with Tom de la Mare cited in the Junior of the Year category, Blackstone Chambers was also named Public Law Set of the Year.
With further nominations in the Set of the Year category for Competition/EU (with Brian Kennelly also shortlisted as Junior), Employment and Professional Discipline, Blackstone Chambers scooped the main award of the night, to be named Chambers of the Year 2009.
