Dinah Rose QC wins Human Rights Lawyer of the Year 2009

Dinah was presented with this award on 10th December 2009 "for her leading contribution towards a range of human rights cases - including that relating to the rendition and torture of Binyam Mohamed, which continues to bring to light the abuses being carried out in the name of 'the War on Terror'."
The Human Rights Awards are held by Liberty and Justice each December to commemorate Human Rights Day. The awards aim to recognise and encourage individuals and organisations whose work is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of others.
