Ian Brownlie CBE QC Knighted

We are delighted to report that Ian Brownlie CBE QC has been knighted for services to public international law.
Sir Ian has been practising in both public international law and human rights since 1967 and has appeared in a full range of international tribunals, including the International Court of Justice, the European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice. In addition, Ian is Emeritus Professor of International Law, Oxford University and a former member and chairman of the UN International Law Commission.
