"Pannick, Rose and Blackstone make history"
02 Oct 09
The Times reports: "Blackstone Chambers succeeded in making history today and notched up firsts both for Lord Pannick and Dinah Rose, QC."
"The Supreme Court is hearing its first appeal on Monday. But an application was sneaked in this afternoon, the court's first day — to do with costs in the forthcoming appeal by the JFS (formerly Jewish Free School)......Rose appeared in the last hearing before the law lords in July — as did Lord Pannick, who is acting for the school. For Pannick, it meant he finally made his century, scoring 100 appearances before the law lords."
