Presiley Baxendale QC makes The 'HOT 100'

Presiley Baxendale QC (joint head of Blackstone Chambers) has just appeared in The Lawyer "HOT 100" list (published in January 2003), marking recognition of her move from practice as a successful public law silk to that of a full time mediator.
The Lawyer's write up says: "Presiley Baxendale QC has embarked on a new career. A little over a year ago Baxendale gave up her life as a successful public law silk to become a full-time mediator. A brave move...but Baxendale is fully committed to her new challenge. “The more you come into contact with [mediation], the more evangelical you become,” she says. “It’s just so quick, so efficient and so sensible.” She also continues in her role as joint head of the highly successful Blackstone Chambers, which has enjoyed another good year in its core area of public law; and Baxendale now hopes that mediation can become another integral part of chambers’ practice."
