I have been a clerk for 22 years, the last 11 of which as one of the senior clerking team at Blackstone Chambers. I was appointed Deputy Senior Clerk in March 2008.
Along with my colleagues, I am responsible for the management and development of the practices of each of the 86 barristers within Chambers. My principal duties include daily liaison with clients, distribution of work, management of Counsels' diaries and fee negotiation. I am also involved in the long term development and implementation of the Blackstone Chambers’ marketing strategy.
I am an avid sports fan, have a season ticket at Arsenal, play 7s on the UK and International circuit and like to fit in the odd game of golf as and when possible.
