Blackstone Chambers completes first stage of redevelopment project

Blackstone Chambers is delighted to announce the completion of Phase One of our building redevelopment project and expansion into Garden Court.
From December 2020, we are moving into newly refurbished premises at 1 Garden Court immediately adjacent to our existing home in Blackstone House, which lies in the heart of the Temple and within 2 minutes walking distance of the Royal Courts of Justice.
Over the past 18 months, Garden Court has been completely redeveloped to include state-of-the-art facilities for members of Chambers and Staff. The new building houses almost 50 barristers and 20 members of staff in offices overlooking Middle Temple Gardens.
The next phase of our redevelopment project, which is being run jointly by Middle Temple and Blackstone Chambers, will involve the refurbishment of Blackstone House and the integration of both buildings to create a single-site complex housing offices and a contemporary conference and events space. This is scheduled for completion at the end of December 2021.
