Blackstone Chambers is delighted to have been recognised by leading German legal publication, JUVE, in its 2022 patent lawyer rankings.
The JUVE Patent rankings cover UK patent practices, solicitors and barristers. Blackstone Chambers has been recognised for its “growing reputation in the patent field”, with recent work on behalf of Apple in particular demonstrating this.
Michael Bloch QC, James Segan QC, Andrew Scott and Timothy Lau have all been recommended by JUVE for their work in IP and Competition law. James Segan QC was described as “an absolute mega-brain – our go-to for SEP and FRAND” by one firm, and Andrew Scott was deemed to be “just great on jurisdiction – the cleverest person I know” by another firm.

Andrew Scott is one
of five Blackstone Chambers barristers appointed a Queen’s Counsel in the
latest round of silk appointments announced in December 2021. He will be
formally appointed at a ceremony on 21 March.
