Blackstone Chambers is delighted to have been recognised by leading German legal publication, Juve, in its inaugural patent lawyer rankings.
JUVE Patent has published its very first JUVE Patent UK ranking 2020 covering UK patent practices, solicitors and barristers. JUVE described Blackstone’s barristers as having a ‘flexible approach to crossover patent cases’. It further commented: “Although a broader commercial set than a specialised IP set, its QCs and juniors excel beyond simply the intersection between telecommunications, FRAND and antitrust law. Its barristers can also turn their hands to pharmaceutical and telecommunication cases, appearing in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal over the past year.” Both Michael Bloch QC, who is described as providing “superb advice and litigation at the interface between patent and antitrust law”, and James Segan are singled out for particular praise.
