In November 2016, the Senior Judiciary announced a review of the use of fixed costs and in particular a review of the "types and areas of litigation in which such costs should be extended".

The attached submission is made on behalf of public law practitioners and Blackstone Chambers and has been approved by the practice group. It addresses the issue of whether a regime of fixed recoverable costs ("FRC") should be applied to public law claims.
