On Thursday 5th October 2017 Tim Otty QC was called to the Bar of Ireland following his successful completion of the application and examination process.

Tim has been admitted to the Irish Bar in order to allow his continued representation of individuals and corporate entities before the Court of Justice of the European Union after the United Kingdom's departure from the EU. Tim has a number of sanctions cases pending in Luxembourg and only members of the Bar of a Member State enjoy rights of audience there and full legal professional privilege against the European Commission. Brian Kennelly QC, Catherine Donnelly and Emily Neill have previously been called to the Irish Bar.
