Gayatri has a wide-ranging practice that encompasses all Chambers’ main areas of work, with a particular focus on commercial disputes, public law and human rights, employment and privacy and data protection. She has appeared before the Employment Tribunals, High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and European Court of Human Rights.

She is presently instructed in two of The Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of 2020: Public Institution for Social Security of Kuwait v Al Rajaan & Ors and National Bank of Kazakhstan & Anr v Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV & Ors.

Before coming to the Bar, Gayatri taught EU law, tort law and land law at the University of Oxford. She also worked as a research assistant at the Law Commission and consultant to the International Bar Association.
