The High Court (Walker J) has dismissed applications for summary judgment by the Defendants (the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund, Aabar, and the well-known property developer, Robert Tchenguiz) in this claim regarding the ownership of the multi-billion Euro property that houses the global headquarters of Santander bank. The claim, which will now go to trial, alleges breach of contract on the part of Aabar, and procuring breach of contract on the part of Mr Tchenguiz.
