B v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions

Acted for B in this difficult case concerning the proper construction of section 71 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992. Acted solo before the Tribunal of Commissioners and led by John Howell QC in the Court of Appeal.  Permission to appeal to the House of Lords was refused and the case is now pending in Strasbourg.
