Burridge v Harrow London Borough Council & Ors

In respect of parental preference for an outer-borough special needs school, under Sch.27 para.3(3) Education Act 1996, attendance at a school named by a parent could be refused by the local authority on the basis that the attendance of the child at the school would be incompatible with the efficient use of the resources of the local authority responsible for the child.
