Newcastle United Football Club v FA and FIFA (Michael Owen)

Acts for Newcastle United Football Club in its prospective challenge to the compatibility of the player release rules with competition law and free movement law, following the injury to Michael Owen for which there has not been adequate compensation from the FA and FIFA.   A similar action by Charleroi is already under reference from the Belgian Courts to the European Court of Justice.
