There were no defects in the procedural rules governing directors' disqualification proceedings which, under Community law, might preclude the court from making an order under s.6 Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 that had the effect of restricting an individual's freedom of establishment and/or freedom to provide services. Disqualification proceedings were regulatory civil proceedings, in which evidence of facts or documents obtained by compulsion could be used.
