The Divisional Court has handed down a further judgment in the disclosure claim by Binyam Mohamed, the last British resident in Guantanamo Bay. The judgment refuses an application made by the Special Advocate, supported by the claimant and media organisations, for the publication of passages removed from the original draft open judgment on grounds of alleged harm to national security that detail Mr Mohamed's treatment whilst held in Pakistan because of threats made by the US Government to reconsider its security and intelligence sharing relationship with the UK if the materials were disclosed.
