Acted for CCRC, resisting judicial review claim for failure to refer conviction to Court of Appeal.  Issues included whether Art. 6 ECHR was engaged in the CCRC’s determinations; whether there had been delay amounting to a breach of Art. 6; whether damages could be awarded under Human Rights Act 1998, s.8.
