R (Carson and Reynolds) v the Secretary of State

Successfully represented the Secretary of State in two cases in the House of Lords on the correct analysis and application of the law relating to discrimination contrary to article 14 of the Convention, one involving lesser sums being paid to pensioners overseas and the other involving lesser sums being paid to those under 25.
