R (Coke-Wallis) v Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales

Acted for the Institute in successfully defending a judicial review challenge of a decision of a professional disciplinary tribunal to refuse to dismiss a second disciplinary complaint against the claimant accountant.  An important case concerning the application of principles of res judicata, autrefois acquit and abuse of process to the professional disciplinary context.
