Gerard Clarke acted for Able UK Ltd , interested party, in this challenge to the HSE’s grant of an exemption to asbestos controls allowing Able to import the controversial French aircraft carrier Clemenceau into the UK in order to be decommissioned. The High Court rejected the challenge on 29th September 2008.
