R v Executive Counsel of the Joint Disciplinary Scheme ex parte Charles Land & others

Action by the claimants, who were the partners in Ernst & Young accountants for an order staying an investigation by the Executive Counsel of the Accountants' Joint Disciplinary Scheme into their work as auditors of the Equitable Life Assurance Society, until after the conclusion of civil proceedings instituted by Equitable against them, on the ground that the continuation of the investigation gave rise to a serious risk of prejudice to them.
