Michael Beloff QC and Gerard Clarke (with Sam Grodzinski from Matrix) successfully defended the Secretary of State’s processes for choosing sponsors for an Academy, in a challenge based on European procurement rules and other grounds, arising from the selection of University College London to sponsor a new Academy in Camden.
