Acting for the Defendant in a (successful) application to strike out a claim brought by an alleged psychic after she was evicted from a pub, and subsequently barred there from for a short period.  The main issue raised in the claim was the scope and proper interpretation of the new, and virtually untested, Equality Act 2006, which prohibited discrimination on the provision of goods, facilities and services on grounds of religion with effect from 30 April 2007.
