Wizard (Bahamas) v Various Defendants

Jane acted for Wizard (Bahamas), led by Ian Mill QC. Wizard (Bahamas) owns key copyrights to songs by Marc Bolan of T.Rex. The proceedings concerned breach of copyright by various defendants by the use of sound recordings and compositions in DVDs and CDs said to be critical appraisals of T.Rex’s output. A settlement was reached before trial.
