Today HM Treasury has published the findings of the independent review of the prudential supervision of The Co-operative Bank plc between 2008 and 2013.
The report makes detailed recommendations for the Prudential Regulation Authority and Bank of England relating to supervisory policy and practice arising out of the Co-op Bank’s near collapse in 2013. The independent review was carried out by Mark Zelmer (a former senior official at the Bank of Canada).
