The Court of Appeal has granted permission to appeal to Mr Conway, who is terminally ill and is arguing that he should be able to seek assistance in dying at a time and manner of his choice.
The appeal raises issues closely related to those considered by the Supreme Court in Nicklinson three years ago. It will give the Court of Appeal the chance to consider the matter in the light of Parliament’s decision not to amend the Suicide Act.
