The International Court of Justice issues Advisory Opinion

On 22 October 2025, the International Court of Justice delivered its Advisory Opinion on the “Obligations of Israel in relation to the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations and third States in and in relation to the Occupied Palestinian Territory”.
The proceedings were instigated by a request from the UN General Assembly in December 2024.
Jason Pobjoy KC represented The United Kingdom in the proceedings, alongside Sally Langrish, Sir Michael Wood KC and Eran Sthoeger.
