The Rothschild Foster Human Rights Trust annual lecture to be given by Sir Jeffrey Jowell KCMG KC

Sir Jeffrey Jowell KCMG KC will present The Rothschild Foster Human Rights Trust annual lecture on the question ‘Does the UK’s Unwritten Constitution Safeguard Our Democracy?’. This event will take place in-person and online on Wednesday 2nd November at Kings Place, London.

The John Galway Foster Human Rights Trust was formed in 1986 by Dame Miriam Rothschild, Sir Isaiah Berlin and Lord Lester, in memory of John Foster KBE, QC. In 2006, the name of the trust was altered to include that of Miriam Rothschild. 

The Trust sponsors an annual lecture and its work is unique in that there is no similar lecture promoted in this way in the human rights field.
