#DoubleYourPride: The Human Dignity Trust Marks Pride Month

As part of their #DoubleYourPride campaign, The Human Dignity Trust have launched a short film to demonstrate their and their partners’ hard-fought and far-reaching victories, and the work still to be done.

The Human Dignity Trust remains the only organisation working globally to support strategic litigation to challenge laws that persecute people on the basis of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. They work with LGBT activists and lawyers around the world to defend human rights in countries where private, same-sex, consensual sexual activity is criminalised. Since its inception, the Trust has provided technical legal expertise to LGBT people pursuing the protection of their human rights through the courts in 25 countries across five continents, receiving more than £18 million of pro bono technical legal assistance.

Founded in 2011 by Tim Otty KC, The Human Dignity Trust has been actively supported by a number of barristers at Blackstone Chambers, including: Michael Beloff KC, Gemma White KC, Emma Dixon, Tristan Jones, Tom Mountford, Isabel Buchanan, Gayatri Sarathy.
