Blackstone Chambers has a significant Telecommunications practice, building on its expertise in commercial, public law and regulatory matters. Members of Chambers advise and represent regulators, operators and consumers on issues including regulatory, public law and competition and have been involved in almost all of the major High Court, CJEU and CAT cases in this area over the last 10 years. The advice has included not only representation in litigation but pure regulatory advice in jurisdictions which are implementing telecoms regulation for the first time.

Members of Chambers advise on a wide range of issues related to fixed line and mobile networks and services, as well as on internet-related matters relevant to telecommunications, including by-pass, interconnection and Voice over Internet Protocol ("VOIP") issues. Other areas of advice include the construction of licenses, arbitration clauses, and the effect of constitutional freedom of expression and property guarantees on exclusivity.
