Members of Chambers undertake the complete range of employment work for employers and employees. They act in matters ranging from high value and complex High Court employment disputes, including team moves, restrictive covenants, confidential information, bonuses, to the entire gamut of issues in the employment tribunals, including whistleblowing, discrimination, victimisation, employment status, equal pay, and unfair dismissal. Interim relief in the High Court and employment tribunal is a particular area of specialism. They are also involved in significant cases before the English appeal courts and in employment disputes before foreign courts such as the DIFC courts.

Blackstone’s expertise in commercial law, financial services law, media law, partnership law, public and regulatory law, and sports law provides members of Chambers with a particularly valuable insight in disputes which overlap these areas.

Several members of Chambers also have considerable experience of the use of arbitration and mediation to resolve employment disputes, acting both as arbitrators or mediators and as advocates in those settings, as well as conducting internal investigations and disciplinary proceedings. They also have experience of giving expert evidence on English employment law in foreign proceedings.
